How Can You Participate in Witness to End Poverty: Good News to the Poor?

2. Participate.
There are no fees or dues. We simply encourage your on-going participation in an active spiritual life, your contributions to relief of your low-income neighbors, and your support of the abolition of poverty. We also encourage you to find or to begin a small circle of Christians or other persons of conscience to meet weekly or regularly for mutual encouragement and support. 3. Study.
To become better acquainted with Wesleyan and other Christian spiritual practices, as well as John Wesley’s theology and passion for the poor, we recommend you read: Good News to the Poor: John Wesley’s Evangelical Economics, Theodore W. Jennings, Jr. (Abingdon)); and Good News to the Poor? Steven Manskar; Disciple’s Journal, Steven Manskar (Board of Discipleship). To encounter John Wesley himself on these matters: Sermon 43: The Scripture Way of Salvation; Sermon 85: On Working Out Our Own Salvation; Sermon 92: On Zeal; Sermon 98: On Visiting the Sick. All of these sermons are available online.
4. Give.
